Two Indianapolis high school students, Adjanie Joseph and Brittany Ballesteros, are championing youth voting. Despite being too young to vote themselves, theyre advocates, helping classmates register and engage. Part of a ten-school program, theyre preparing for the May fifth primary with early voting starting April seventh. Young voters often lag, but these teens are changing that with posters, classroom talks, and fun polls. Theyre also encouraging classmates to become student poll workers, offering a day off, up to $180, and training.
