Singer-songwriter Dash Crofts, half of the iconic 1970s soft-rock duo Seals and Crofts, has passed away at 87. Known for hits like Summer Breeze and Diamond Girl, Crofts and partner Jim Seals blended pop, country, folk, and jazz into easy-listening favorites. Their music, influenced by the Baha’i faith, promoted unity and peace. Despite soft rocks decline, they reunited for Baha’i events and projects. Crofts is survived by his wife and children, and his songs continue to inspire.
