Central Indianas multi-use trail network expands with a new connection between Fishers and Indianapolis, featuring a bridge and a one point three mile trail extension. While this improves access for biking and walking, a gap north of seventy-fifth Street remains due to ongoing highway rebuilds. The Monon Trail in Hamilton County is now complete, and work continues on the Nickle Plate Trail, set to finish in late 2026.
