K-9 Kion, a Tipton County Sheriffs Office dog, received a bullet and stab-proof vest from Vested Interest in K9s, a nonprofit providing protective gear to law enforcement dogs. The organization has donated over 6,300 vests, valued at $6.9 million, to K-9 teams across the U.S. Each vest costs $1,050 and comes with a 5-year warranty.
