Show Notes
Indianapolis is set to construct new pedestrian bridges over Keystone Avenue and eighty-second Street, starting in 2027 and 2028 respectively. These projects, fully funded and in the design phase, aim to enhance safety for cyclists and walkers, who currently face risks from fast traffic at these busy crossings. The bridges are expected to encourage more people to use the trails for leisure, commuting, and health purposes, contributing to the citys growing network of over one hundred miles of trails. Indy DPW is also planning more greenways to improve the citys livability.
