The Standiford H. Cox Fund, established in 2020 by a retired Eli Lilly executive, is awarding grants to preserve African American historic sites in Indiana. Partnering with the Central Indiana Community Foundation, the fund supports organizations restoring churches and schools, like Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Indianapolis.
