Dan Partridge is starring as Charlie Price in the new touring production of Kinky Boots.Written by Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, Kinky Boots opened on Broadway in 2013 before transferring to London in 2015. This new production is directed by Curve’s Artistic Director Nikolai Foster with choreography by Leah Hill and set and costume design by Robert Jones.Dan's theatre credits include: Pepper in Mamma Mia! Izi Maxwell recently took over as Sophie in the West End production of Mamma Mia!The show marks both Izi's official West End and leading lady debut. Mamma Mia! celebrated its 25th birthday in April, making it only the third musical to reach 25 in the history of the West End. It is now the third longest running West End musical of all-time. As a special Pride Month treat, Jordan Luke Gage is back In The Frame to discuss his brand new musical Redcliffe! Over the past year Jordan has been busy writing his first musical. Based on the true events of William Critchard and Richard Arnold in Bristol during the 1750s, Redcliffe is a tale of forbidden love during the persecution people faced for hundreds of years. The show was previewed as part of MT Fest in February ahead of a full workshop in May which concluded with four sold-out performances at The Other Palace Studio. Jordan has written Redcliffe's music, book and lyrics whilst also playing William. This episode features a special recording of 'Void Of Love' from Redcliffe, performed by Jordan during the musical's run at MT Fest. Having recently played Shelley in I Should Be So Lucky (UK & Ireland Tour), Melissa Jacques is currently preparing to perform a very special solo show, Songs My Father Told Me I Should Sing. Taking place at the Phoenix Arts Club on Monday 8th July, Melissa will share songs from some of the inspirational artists her dad introduced her to as a kid growing up in Sheffield as well as numbers linked to her career. Melissa has co-written the show with Jamie Alexander Wilson who is also directing whilst musical direction and arrangements are by Sam Hall. Melissa’s regional theatre credits include: Little Shop of Horrors, Me and My Girl, Spend Spend Spend, Crazy For You, Oliver!, Company, Into The Woods and many more. Melissa understudied Donna, Rosie and Tanya in the original West End cast of Mamma Mia! In 1999. She had a total of three stints in the show and later became the alternate Donna. Some of Melissa’s other theatre credits include understudying Madame Morrible in Wicked (Apollo Victoria Theatre), playing Trish in Kinky Boots (Adelphi Theatre) and starring as Carol’s Mum in the semi-staged performances of 42 Balloons (Vaudeville Theatre). Melissa joined the West End production of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie (Apollo Theatre) as the standby for Margaret, Ray and Miss Hedge in 2018. The following year Melissa took over as Margaret to tremendous acclaim and stayed with the production until it closed in 2021. Melissa later reprised her performance when the musical had its US premiere in LA in 2022. Melissa’s screen credits include Doctors, Disenchanted and the upcoming film adaptation of Wicked. Carl Mullaney is currently playing Monsignor O'Hara in the West End revival of Sister Act at the Dominion Theatre. Olivier nominee Natalie Paris is currently starring as Kit De Luca in Pretty Woman The Musical.Following its hugely successful West End run, Pretty Woman is on its first UK & Ireland tour. The show is directed and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell with music and lyrics by Bryan Adams. Natalie started her career as a child, playing Young Cosette in the Wets End production of Les Misérables and Louise in Sunday in the Park with George at the Menier Chocolate Factory and cast recording. She was also in the West End productions of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Billy Elliot.Natalie then spent time in the music world, performing countless gigs internationally. She returned to theatre as an adult and originated the role of Jane Seymour in Six The Musical. Natalie was with the show from its initial Arts Theatre performances in 2017 and recorded the cast album, including her iconic rendition of "Heart Of Stone" which has been streamed over 38 million times on Spotify. Natalie continued with Six through to its original UK tour, including a sell out run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and West End run at the Arts, Lyric and Vaudeville theatres.
