Jamie is an oilfield veteran with expertise in manufacturing, repair and service of oilfield equipment. In this episode, guest host Josh Lowery interviews John Daniel and Sean Mitchell about their recent BBQ in Midland. Josh does a nice job of discovering the origins of the DEP BBQ and how these two have created an event like no other in the Permian Basin.

In this episode the DEP team sits down with Patrick Finney, VP of Completions at Chesapeake Energy, to talk about a recent trip to the Marcellus to visit Halliburton’s electric frac fleet. We discuss some of the obvious benefits of the electric fleet and Patrick shares some of the key stats from Chesapeake’s first pad in PA. In addition to the Zeus Electric pump that deliver 5,000HP at over 22 bbls/minute, we discuss the other electric components on location as well as the power supply that can be used with this all-electric solution. Patrick also shares some interesting insights on what CHK is doing different on the completions side with wet sand completions, electric compression and CNG trucks to haul sand.

We discuss Mark Mills' keynote speech, the various panels from the conference and the perspectives of ~70 upstream industry executives who attended. Access to capital for the industry, M&A, ESG, new technology in the oilfield and rig/frac count predictions were covered in depth.
