I was somehow able to come up with just four icons that I think truly define Los Angeles of the modern era... my Mt Rushmore of L.A.! This was borderline impossible to pull off, considering the names that DID NOT make it, but I get into those details also. Be sure to give me feedback on how you think I did!

Reminiscing this holiday weekend on some of my favorite segments I've done since I started making this podcast! Of course I want you to refamiliarize with my origin story, and also tell you about something I've been living with my whole life that I'm sure a lot of you can relate to! Reflecting on my day spent at Skid Row in downtown Los Angeles... a 54 block homeless mainstay for more than 100 years! I also get into just how Skid Row actually started/how'd it get its name/how it's stood the test of time/and maybe most important, what's being done to hopefully not need a a Skid Row someday.

As usual, we're digging deep the only way we know how... this time into whether Los Angeles is the city of health and wellness, which was the original pitch to spur growth over 100 years ago! I get into my top 5 hidden gems of L.A.! Whether hidden in plain site or not, these go-to destinations are fun to go and explore, are places a lot of us see on a daily basis, but maybe haven't quite taken the time to understand the significance and relevance behind them.
