This week, Andreas speaks with Honorio Poblador (Nori), the co-founder and Managing Partner of Navegar, a Philippines-focused private equity (PE) firm. In this episode, Nori shares the demographic profile of the Philippines and the role of OFW (Overseas Filipino Workers) and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) in the country’s economy. Nori talks about the process and added values that Navegar has implemented with regards to environmental, social and governance principles to their portfolio companies. Nori also shares his thinking about his interpretation on what ‘impact investment’ is. Finally, Nori mentions about the best fulfilling part of running a private equity firm.
