This summer, we have seen record-breaking global temperatures and extreme weather events: floods, the hottest June on record and wildfires. The scale of the climate problem is becoming increasingly clear; governments and investors can no longer ignore it.
In this episode, we’ll discuss why governments have responded slowly to the crisis and the strong link between UK pensions and fossil fuels.
We will also examine the scale of the climate problem and how it fits into thinking about investments and being an impact investor.
Finally, we’ll discuss the different ways to invest to avoid funding fossil fuels directly or indirectly.
