Show Notes

Both the need for security and privacy compliance and the use of data analytics have become part of the regular course of business for many firms.  During this snackable podcast, Jeff Watson, Data Science Team Lead, Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP and Lisa Mayo, Director of Data Management, Ballard Spahr, will discuss the challenges that exist at the intersection of compliance and analytics.  They will touch on how a firm’s security and privacy needs impact the creation and use of advanced analytics, and ways that firms can design analytics models on top of regulated data without risking violating regulations or the privacy of the consumer in an environment where policies on the data could be in a constant state of change.
