The Hard Rock Hotel collapse in New Orleans seemed to come out of nowhere. But, it was just a collection of poor decisions, negligence, and disregard for human rights. It seemed that no one, not the city inspectors, engineers, or building supervisors cared about the safety of the building and all of this would lead to a devastating end.
