Welcome to the Corporate Casket, a semiweekly series where bad businesses go to die. We will discuss any and everything from bad charities, terrible CEOs, and businesses that have a lot to hide.
It’s time for a fast takedown on another fast fashion company. Boohoo has become a competitive and notorious rival to Shein in the world of fast fashion and in scandals. They claim to be making a push for sustainability, but their 100% sale, and over 400,000 styles a year seem to beg a differ. As for the people that make all of their inventory, well, let's just say the company’s labor practice leaves something to be desired. But hey, Kourtney Kardashian says she is here to save the day! That always works out great, doesn’t it?
