IGN UK Podcast #275: Would Christoph Waltz Lie To Us?!
On this week's podcast Rory, Chris & Gav examine the case for and against Christoph Waltz playing Blofeld in Spectre as well as trying not to get too sad about David Lynch leaving the Twin Peaks revival. IGN UK Podcast #274: Watching Interstellar with Stephen Hawking
This week, Chris & Gav discuss the time they watched Interstellar with Prof. Stephen Hawking and whether they now understand Chris Nolan's epic sci-fi movie (*spoilers* they still don't have a clue). IGN UK Podcast #273: To the Manor Bloodborne
Three guys start playing Bloodborne. One's finished Dark Souls, one played a bit, one ran away in fear of From Software. That pretty much sums up this week's podcast crew of Krupa, Gav, and Luke, who have all been spending the week exploring the dark and winding alleyways of Yharnam. Learn more about your ad choices. IGN UK Podcast #272: Becoming Master Criminals
Turns out we're excellent at stealth. Seriously. With Battlefield Hardline coming out this week, the podcast crew was invited to a mystery location in Central London to break into a top-secret facility and empty a heavily-guarded vault. We took it far too seriously (apart from Alex who was wearing a bright red hoodie for Comic Relief). We also talk about how Battlefield's take on Heists compare with those in GTA Online, as well as the massive Nintendo news from earlier in the week and the beautiful PlayStation 4 exclusive Everybody's Gone to the Rapture. As always, that's in addition to the regular nonsense. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

IGN UK Podcast #266: Gary Whitta Talks Star Wars & Starlight
We really are spoiling you with our pod-guests these days. Hot-on-the-heels of Ex Machina’s Alex Garland and Evolve’s Phil Robb, we’ve now got games journalist-turned-screenwriter Gary Whitta joining Chris and Gav for an epic cast. Whitta started out in the games industry in the late 1980s before making the transition to film via The Book of Eli and Another Earth. For the last year he’s been busy working in a galaxy far, far away, writing the first standalone movie in the new Star Wars cycle, which will be directed by Gareth ‘Godzilla’ Edwards and hitting screens December 2016. Gary doesn’t reveal much about the movie – bound as he is by the mother of all non-disclosure agreements – but he does talk about his love of The Empire Strikes Back, how the original trilogy inspired his generation of writers and filmmakers, and what working on this new movie has been like as a creative experience. Oh, and his failure in a Star Wars quiz many moons ago also gets a (somewhat unfair) mention. If that weren’t enough, Gary offers his advice to aspiring screenwriters, talks about games as an art-form in the 21st Century, explains where’s he’s at with his adaptation of Mark Millar comic Starlight, tells an AMAZING story aboutFrank Darabont, and gives us the skinny on his forthcoming novel Abomination, which is available via pre-sale this Monday, February 9. Braking Bad spin-off Better Call Saul hits Netflix this week so the boys discuss their hopes and fears for the show, while the conversation about potential TV reboots rumbles on, with Star Trek, The Crystal Maze and Green Wing all getting a mention in reader feedback. Out this week includes games Gunman Clive 2, Game of Thrones Episode 2 and Evolve, while the big movie releases are Selma, Shaun the Sheep and Jupiter Ascending. Learn more about your ad choices. Yes, Alex, Krupa, Luke and Chris return once more to cover this week's biggest news, from the PS4 passing a milestone in our green and pleasant land, all the way to the Arkham Knight release date being somewhat later than originally planned. IGN UK Podcast #242: Hands-Off My 'Nuts
Hello friends! It's Friday, which can only mean one thing - the IGN UK Podcast is back to assault your senses in the most delightful way. This week it's Luke, Krupa, Alex and Chris in the hot seats, dissecting all the biggest stories of the week. Pressing matters include the leaking of Assassin's Creed Rogue and the news about Resident Evil getting remastered, as well as the speculation about Studio Ghibli's future. It's a thrilling time. There's also a fair bit of discussion about doughnuts and what Alex got up to on his holibobs. For those of you watching the video version, you'll note he's looks like he's been varnished a shade of rich mahogany. Do not adjust your sets, that's actually how he looks. We're as confused as you. IGN UK Podcast #240: A-Holes Assemble
It's Friday, which means the IGN UK Podcast team have once again roused themselves from a collective stupor to shower you with bants, reflection and insight. Mainly the first one, if we're honest. This week sees Luke, Daniel, Chris and Rich get the trusty mics out in order to discuss everything from the rumoured Star Wars: Episode VII plot, to the official Doom 4 details, all via Marvel's proposed release schedule. We also have a good old chinwag about whether Comic-Con has evolved so much that it's no longer fulfilling its original purpose as a fan festival. We tie it all up by advising you what games and films you should be looking out for, and answering your feedback. Although at this point I'd like to make it abundantly clear that I can grow facial hair. Lots of lovely, long facial hair. I'm like Gandalf in that respect. The fact I'm magical and also possess my own staff is a happy coincidence, however. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

IGN UK Podcast #237: I(GN), Robot
You came back. You really came back for another week? Don't get me wrong, we're happy you did, and your blind loyalty is rewarded by the introduction of the latest member of the team: IGN Robot, who reviews this week's game and film releases. But there's more. We condense the week's news into a information rich 10 minutes, before tackling the subject of summer blockbusters and what their future looks like. Transformers: Age of Extinction is a huge commercial success but a critical flop. So are blockbusters 100% critic proof? Is there still room for smart summer entertainment, like the forthcoming Dawn of the Planet of the Apes? We discuss how the summer popcorn movie has changed and will continue to grow. IGN UK Podcast #236: British Laughs and Global Leaks
Hello again you lucky things. Yes, it's that time of week again, where Luke, Alex, Krupa and Rich gather to talk all things entertainment-related for your audible enjoyment. This week's been an interesting one, with rumours and leaks cropping up all over the place. So many leaks, in fact, we've taken to wearing galoshes to work in a bid to stop the water from damaging our lovely suede shoes. I write this from a paddling pool raft, adrift in an ocean of speculation. Top of the list for dissection are the mutterings about the new Star Wars: Episode VII villains, the big Witcher 3 file leaks and reports that Matt Damon is set to return to the Bourne franchise. We also discuss the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles trailer, obviously, which segues rather nicely into a chat about our famous British comedies of all time. If you're at a bit of a low ebb this weekend, there's definitely some recommendations here that'll brighten your day. So what are you waiting for?! Dive on in. Hopefully there won't be any audio issues this week but, if there are, it's Rich's fault. So send us advice on how he should be punished. Until next week! Learn more about your ad choices. Given last night's performance he's probably slightly less excited now. We've also got a bumper amount of feedback from you guys, with you telling us your favourite moments from our podcasting history and what you made of E3. It also leads to a revelation from Luke that he only plays Mortal Kombat for the story. This does not go down well. We hope you enjoy it and have fantastic weekends! You've all seen some of that picture - the biggest names in Hollywood, sat around on comfy chairs, deep in discussion about one of the most anticipated releases in entertainment history. But enough of this week's IGN UK podcast and it's hosts Alex, Stu, Krupa and Chris, spare a thought for the new and old (and very old) faces of Star Wars Episode 7, which is this week's hot topic of conversation.
