And now, the moment you've all been waiting for, part two of the iFanboy 2006 All Media Year End Roundup where we finish discussing everything we enjoyed in 2006 from movies, to TV, to IPTV, to music and of course, comics. As a continued added bonus, comments are open for you to discuss what your 2006 picks were. Enjoy! Running Time: 00:53:49 IPTV: 00:00:46 - We talk about the big year in IPTV, and Ron watches a whole lot of web video content, such as DL.tv, InDigital, and CommandN. 00:02:15 - We're also watching comedies such as Ask a Ninja, French Maid TV, Tiki Bar TV, and our collective favorite, The Show with ZeFrank. And we all watch it in a different way. Music: 00:05:30 - Last year we talked about video games, but this year, we're off World of Warcraft, so Ron comes in with his ten favorite records of the year, and we talk about all the different ways we have to get it. 00:07:45 - Ron likes the Fleeting Joys, with their album "Despondent Transponder." 00:08:12 - "Paper Television" by The Blow 00:08:41 - "Begin to Hope" by Regina Spektor 00:09:11 - M. Ward - "Post War" - from the Dude! 00:09:27 - "Bring it Back" by Mates of State. And Josh saw them live, and really dug it. 00:10:10 - Apparently, Ron liked Morrissey's newest album, "Ringleader of the Tormentors". 00:10:23 - "Separate Ways" by Teddy Thompson 00:10:42 - "The Life Pursuit" by Belle and Sebastian 00:11:01 - He loved the movie, and he loves the soundtrack to Stranger Than Fiction. 00:11:39 - And just for the name, the final album is: I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness, with "Fear is on Our Side". 00:13:03 - Josh's favorite song of the year: "Cowboys are Secretly Frequently Fond of Each Other" by Willie Nelson. 00:13:40 - Conor and Ron found resplendent joy at the reunion show for Texas is the Reason. Comics: 00:16:00 - We enter our comfort zone, and talk comics. Oh that's a nice fit. Was it a big year for comics, or just a big year in comics for us? 00:19:08 - One of the best books of the year, without a doubt, is Daredevil. 00:21:44 - We wrap up The Escapists, and we'll try not to mention it again. We just loved it so! 00:22:23 - The book we were really happy to fall in love with this year was Peter David's X-Factor. 00:25:18 - The Year of the Event! 00:26:07 - DC was event-tastic this year. Ron still doesn't think One Year Later was good. Josh and Conor do not agree. And of course that leads to 52. 00:31:13 - iFanboy are in agreement that Civil War started off great, but we're all ready for it to be done with. 00:33:33 - Jim Lee is too pre-occupied to do a good relaunch of the Wildstorm Universe. 00:35:44 - We're absolutely adoring Absolute editions. 00:37:35 - Best Creators of the year? Brubaker and Brian K. Vaughan. 00:44:22 - We are in the era of the writer. Does the artist matter like he used to? 00:48:08 - Best comic stuff of the year? The Scott Pilgrim Phenomenon? Ep 612006 All Media Year End Roundup (Part One)

We warned you that this week there would be no regular Pick of the Week show, but instead we offer to you part one of the 2006 All Media Year End Roundup where we discuss everything we enjoyed in 2006 from movies, to TV, to IPTV, to music and of course, comics. As an added bonus, comments are open for you to discuss what your 2006 picks were. Enjoy! Running Time: 01:25:34 Movies: 00:01:45 - We start the discussion talking about movies, for which 2006 was a down year and Conor saw the most movies out of all of us. 00:03:27 - Big year for comics movies with Superman Returns, X-Men: The Last Stand and V for Vendetta, our opinions really haven't changed. 00:07:58 - Conor and Josh have big man crushes on Daniel Craig, the latest Bond in Casino Royale. 00:11:24 - We all saw The Departed together and loved it, although some more than others. 00:14:05 - The "indie darling of the year"? Maybe, maybe not but Josh and Ron enjoyed Little Miss Sunshine. 00:15:25 - Ron adored Stranger Than Fiction and Josh and Conor missed out by not seeing it. 00:18:41 - We all saw Clerks 2and while Josh was harder on it than Ron and Conor, it was generally enjoyed. 00:22:51 - Josh bitched about Bobby, his worst movie of the year. 00:25:07 - The best documentary of the year was An Inconvenient Truth, which inspired Ron to spread the word. 00:28:54 - It's time to talk about a movie that Conor loved, Hollywoodland. 00:32:20 - Conor and Ron took a chance on The Last Kiss. Television: 00:36:45 - We probably spend the most amount of time for entertainment on TV, although with DVRs, its changing. But Conor will forever flip. 00:39:07 - We start off with The Wire, so we can let Josh gush and get it over with. 00:40:57 - Josh is engrossed by Grey's Anatomy, coming late to the show, while Ron and Conor have been watching since the beginning. 00:46:24 - Does Lost still have it? Conor thinks so. 00:49:45 - The hit of the year is Heroes and we're still shocked. 00:52:55 - Josh's favorite new show though is Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. 00:58:15 - My Name is Earl and The Office is the only hour of comedy we watch. 01:02:48 - Battlestar Galactica is the way to Josh's heart. 01:05:36 - Ron is still hanging in with The O.C. and reveals his disturbing history of watching shows like Thirtysomething. 01:09:37 - The Sopranos delivered the goods this year, according to Ron. Conor and Josh didn't quite agree. 01:13:50 - We are enjoying the creative renaissance of ER. 01:18:05 - The best hour of TV for Conor and Ron is 24, hands down. 01:20:18 - Conor and Josh mourn the end of Deadwood. 01:23:40 - Conor thinks the best show that neither Josh or Ron is watching is Veronica Mars. 01:25:26 - Smallville is enjoying a creative renaissance too, but we hope it ends soon. Ron Richards is finally coming around on Ultimate X-Men, while Conor Kilpatrick is still confounded by Justice League of America. X-Factor and Robin just keep on rolling. Ep 59Pick of the Week #59 – Strangers in Paradise #86

Strangers in Paradise #86 was a real tear jerker and the best book this week, coming close was Detective Comics #826, while Batman Confidential #1 blew. We LOVED Justice Society of America #1 and announced the winners of the Avengers Casting Contest We also answered listener e-mail and voicemails. Running Time: 00:59:36 Pick of the Week: 00:01:30 - Ron picked a downer in Strangers In Paradise #86 as the Pick of the Week. But it was sooo good. Comics: 00:15:43 - Detective Comics #826 warms the cockles of Conor's heart with Paul Dini's tale of The Joker. 00:19:00 - Conversely, Batman Confidential #1 did the opposite. 00:23:48 - Is it possible that Justice Society of America #1 could have been ANY better than it was? Probably not, cause it was awesome. 00:26:22 - Why did we buy New Universal #1? We have no idea. 00:28:22 - One of the few constants in comics, Jonah Hex #14 delivered the goods yet again. 00:30:27 - Unfortunately the Marvel Holiday Special 2006 did not deliver.
