Show Notes
On today's episode I reflect on the life of Bill Walton who passed away from cancer yesterday at the age of 71. I was blessed to have known Bill, work with Bill and so many of his friends. There will never be another Bill Walton. I share how I met Bill and what it was like calling NBA games with him. Announcing a game with Bill was hard to describe. It was 2.5 hours of flying by the seat of your pants, because I never knew what crazy things Bill would say. I also let you listen to Bill talking to a crowd about legendary UCLA Coach John Wooden. Wooden was like a father to Bill and it shaped Walton's life. RIP my friend. You will be sorely missed by so many.
