On today's podcast i talk about some of the amazing athletes I covered early in my career. The topic came to mind after a discussion on Listen App about Kurt Warner. I actually announced a game in Des Moines, Iowa when Warner was playing in the Arena League for the Iowa Barnstormers. Obviously, nobody knew that they were watching a guy that would be come a Pro Football Hall Of Famer. It got me thinking about some of the other big time athletes I covered in my career. I talk about some of the big time hockey players I announced in college and then share a story about bartending for the New York Rangers one night in Rye, NY. I look back on my career and I am truly blessed.
