雅思口语P2 Describe a time you borrowed something that you haven't owned before（文字版）

Mention about the topic, a time that I borrowed a brand new bicycle comes to my mind. A couple of years ago when I was a freshman in college, I decided to learn how to ride the bike. You know, all what I wanted at that time was about making my girlfriend feel happy. Cuz she was a big fan of cycling. See, I told you. I had to learn it well. My roommate lent his bike to me. A brand new one I could say. At the beginning, he was not likely to give it to me, I made several promises you know, I would pay for his dinner for 2 weeks long. Then I worked things out. After having it, I started my journey to ride. On campus, you could normally find a rather foolish guy, who couldn't find the proper balance on biking. That was me. I remembered that I spent almost 2 weeks maybe. I eventually became a good user I can say. That was my first time to borrow a bike and I didn't have it before. That is it.
