1. I still remember having my very first mobile phone as a reward from my mom when I passed university exam.
2. However, my parents didn't want me to have one before I approached university because they were afraid that it could distract me from my study.
3. It was just a very basic phone which allowed me to make calls and send text messages.
4. It took me several months to get over my homesickness and without my phone I can't imagine how I could have made it.
