Growing up as children, we were always told to tell the truth. There was one time that I remember when some friends and I were ready to go hiking together in the mountains. We were pretty excited about the activity and prepared for it for a long time. Unfortunately, about two days before, I got very sick, to the point, that I even had to go to the hospital. It was like pretty serious. However, I didn't want to worry my best friend about it because I knew that I would recover fast from it. I decided to tell a lie about the reasons why I couldn't join them for the hiking day, telling them my parents would travel in the special period and I had to watch over the house in their absence. Luckily, this lie was not as bad as it was, because they decided to make a change of the starting date until we could all attend. Suddenly, I realized that some friends are more important than others. I mean not only for friends but friendship. From time to time, you will find that telling a good lie is better than telling a truth in order to maintain a friendship. so that's it.
