Megan and Noami are searching for the real love in these Lifetime films. That’s right, this week we cover not one but two films produced by the legendary R&B artist Mary J. Blige! Part 1 of the 2-part series “Real Love” follows 18-year-old Kendra during her first year at an HBCU in South Carolina. When she meets a guy named Ben in her Photography class sparks fly. Despite disapproving parents and financial hardship, Kendra and Ben fall head-over-heels for each other and ultimately learn the meaning of "Real Love."
We catch up with our lovestruck couple 15 years later in Part 2, “Strength of a Woman.” Since those college years, they’ve gone their separate ways and are thriving in their careers and love lives - or so they think. Will they repeat the mistakes of the past? Or will they find the strength to move forward?
