Entrepreneur turned investor, Scott Thompson grew up in Pennsylvania and identified as a 'pusher' from an early age. He pushed himself to become an Eagle scout by the age of 14 and All-state Wrestler by 17. Scott aspired to pursue his MBA at Stanford, but ultimately found more value in another type of education: sales training. Through his salesmanship and pushing drive, Scott started a staffing company that he quickly grew to over 8,000 staffed employees. We talk with Scott about the realizations we have when we are able to slow down and just be; and the difference between being motivated by personal gain and motivated by love.
