Rutger McGroarty is a top hockey prospect heading into the 2022 NHL Draft (July 7th and 8th). Born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska, McGroarty is projected to be the highest-drafted Nebraskan in NHL history. Rutger joined Jessica Coody on Sports Nightly to discuss his decorated hockey career, being the captain of Team USA u18’s, getting ready for the draft, and how his time growing up in Lincoln has shaped who he’s become.
