The Husker247 HoopsCast returns on Wednesday to discuss Nebraska’s performance against Saint Mary’s, Fred Hoiberg’s thoughts ahead of the next game against Creighton and the aforementioned game against the Jays.
Both Mike Schaefer and Brian Christopherson are in agreement that spurts of the game against Saint Mary’s featured some of the best play Nebraska has had on the hardwood this season. However the team couldn’t stay out of its own way long enough. Still Berke Buyuktuncel emerging as an option is a good thing going forward and Brice Williams showed he’s capable of pulling Nebraska into a game.
Will that be enough against Creighton? The two debate the game and what would have to happen for the Huskers to pull a big upset in Omaha.
