Even though it’s not mandatory for Singaporean women to enlist into the SAF, many of us have decided to join the Army or contribute to defence in our own way. More than just “female empowerment”, it’s a calling. To protect this place we call home. In this episode, servicewoman, Captain Tee Jin Hui, shares with us her story on what motivated her to join the Army; her journey from BMT to Signal Officer, and the challenges she faces as a female regular.
