The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of resurrection. There can be no resurrection without death. There is no death without sin. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23 Sin brings death. Sin destroys us and others. Sin is something we see in others but don’t see in ourselves. Your sin will do to you what it did to Jesus! If God will not punish sin, He will apologize to Sodom.There are two kinds of people in the world: dead to sin or dead in sin. Which are you? Sin is work. Death is paycheck. What in hell do you want that you work so hard for it? We need to quit, resign, give 2 minute notice to devil and leave his payroll. The Holy Spirit brings gift of forgiveness from Jesus. Cross is the place where God is loving without being unholy. The Holy Spirit begins the process of repairing our life from damages of sin. The Holy Spirit starts the resurrection process in our life. When its dark, you are feel like you are buried, you are only planted. Difference between burial and planting is life & expectancy. Going as seed, dark, dirt, under foot, no way, come out as MUCH fruit. Don’t put period where God has put a comma. Holy Spirit in me is more powerful than circumstances around me. PRAYER POINTS: 1. Whatever in my life that has been in a state of disuse - begin to resurrect, in Jesus’ name. 2. Be it in my health – begin to resurrect. In my business – begin to resurrect. The closer both people get to God they closer they come to each other. - Commitment to God must be stronger than commitment to each other. - Don’t let passive spouse hinder your passion for God - Don’t nag, push, blame or preach to a passive spouse (1 Pet.3:1-2) - Your spouse is like a tree, it will not grow when you pull it. Water it instead and be patient. - God did not call you to change your spouse but to love them. 2. Catch the foxes! Before you win in marriage, marriage has to win in your mind. Song of Solomon 2:15 - Little foxes are thoughts like “I have made a mistake”, “I should of married someone else”, “I am miserable” “I have to leave before it’s too late”. - Don’t vocalize demonic thoughts or they will take root in your mind. - Burn the bridge to your ex and the past. - Remove the word “divorce” from your vocabulary during difficult time in your marriage. 3. Choose to cheat! Don’t cheat on your marriage with work and hobbies. Pastor Vlad started a new series titled "Relationship Goals". Message Notes: Genesis 2:20-22 Adam knew MASTER. Adam was on MISSION. Adam found MATE. 1. You are ready to date when you don’t need to. It was God who brought up the issue of marriage, not Adam. You have to be so lost in God that person has to look for God to find you. God is not anti-love, He is anti-lust. Lust is devils substitute for love. Lust looks like love as alcohol looks like water but they have different effect. Lust vs love: Lust is selfish, love is sacrificial Lust seeks isolation, love seeks community Lust forces sex, love initiates marriage Lust hurts, love heals Lust does not last, love grows with time Lust get punished, love gets rewarded If you are hurting you will turn relationship into rehab. There are sharks in the sea of dating, therefore don’t go swimming if you are bleeding. Its impossible to have high standards with low self-esteem. Marriage will not fix your lust, insecurity or abuse. It will not make you hole, but it will reveal your holes. 2. You will wait for God to bring right person or wait for God to change wrong person. Adam went on a search for a spouse but could not find anyone comparable. Most comparable was monkey. Don’t date monkeys. 1 Corinthians 7:39 2 Corinthians 6:14 Divorce rate falls in the half if both attend church, have same theology and practice that faith home. How to find a wrong person? When you start dating without getting over your ex When you date someone believes in God but does not follow Jesus. When you expect that marriage will fix this person. When your gut tells you to “this is not right”. When your mentors don’t support you in this. When there is no mutual attraction. 3. Waiting on God is allowing God to take something out of you before He brings someone to you. Wake up spiritually, go to sleep sexually (Song of Solomon 2:7). Flirting leads to fornication. Fleeing leads to sanctification. Don’t stir up feelings in people you know for sure you will not be with. We are just talking. Waiting on God is not idle, its God working on you. The key is not finding the right person but being the right person. Expectation without preparation equals frustration. If you knew you the way you know you, would you marry you? Prayer Point: We are believing the Lord for… Dates and better dates! Brides and grooms! Proposals Weddings and revival babies Favorable glances Tuxes and wedding dresses Interests and commitments Hard squeezes returned Rings and honeymoons Wives and spouses Debts paid off Nerves decrease Courage increased Thank you Lord for meeting all my romantic needs That I may find my one and only partner to build the Kingdom of God and promote the gospel of Jesus Christ. He overcomes Pharaoh but they conquer Canaan. Whom the Son sets free is free, you shall know the truth. But David said to Saul, “Your servant used to keep his father’s sheep, and when a lion or a bear came and took a lamb out of the flock, I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb from its mouth; and when it arose against me, I caught it by its beard, and struck and killed it.
