The following is a Hub exclusive in the form of a series of interviews conducted by The Hub's executive director, Rudyard Griffiths, where he was in conversation with Yann LeCun, Max Tegmark, Melanie Mitchell, and Yoshua Bengio, professors and scientists who participated in the Munk Debates where they debated the following resolution: Be it resolved, AI research and development poses an existential threat. The interviews were conducted ahead of the debate, which was then held on June 22nd, 2023.
