The 2022 National Elections became a battle between two parties: the Gobyernong Tapat of Vice President Leni Robredo and UniTeam of former Senator Ferdinand "BBM" Marcos, Jr. According to political science Associate Professor Jean Encinas-Franco of UP, the Marcos camp has been preparing for this moment since the 2000’s.   As the votes are being taken into account, we spoke to Prof. Encinas-Franco and discussed the strategies of each candidate and assessed the old and new methods used for the campaign.   What factors contributed to make Marcos win this fight?   Tune in to this conversation recorded on May 10, 2022.
