Artisanal fishing is an important source of food and income for many developing countries around the world. Today's Research Thursday paper identifies the fact that most research on the subject is conducted by institutions and scientists in Developing Countries. The authors mention that there is a bias towards developed country institutions compared to developing country institutions.
