Show Notes

In this episode I sat down with my ex business partner who is also my Mum, someone I ran my business with for 13 years.

My Mum always wanted to start her own business and she did just that in her mid 50s until she retired in her late 60s. We discuss how that experience was having left school with no qualifications having labelled herself a failure.

We dive into an honest and authentic conversation about what it's like to run a business with her husband and son and all the challenges this presented.

We finish off discussing her perspective on failure and what the experience of being a business owner of a successful business has taught her about life and the lessons she has learned.
