Show Notes
Mindset is something we talk a lot about and it's the foundation for us all being successful. The truth is, we are going fail in our journey to grow and succeed. It's a part of life. An important part of failure is your mindset and approach to how you deal with failure.
In this episode I discussed the relationship between your mindset and success. How does it impact on your ability to recover from failure. I open up about my grappling with failure since closing my business and a realisation I saw about my mindset and how it was stopping me and holding me back.
In this episode I talk about:
- What mindset is.
- Growth vs. fixed mindset.
- Theory of intelligence: entity theory vs. increment theory.
- How your approach may determine how you will react to failure.
- An example from my life around how my mindset has impacted my ability to be successful.
- Important things you need to know to help develop a growth mindset.
- How other people's opinions can shape your life.
- How we can reframe and reset our mindset to help us recover from failure.
