Show Notes
Getting 4-5 hours of uninterrupted sleep is the most effective and least expensive thing a new mother can do to start feeling better. The research supports that 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep can significantly improve a mom's mental state and well-being. In today's important episode, Allison will give you many suggestions for getting those 4-5 hours of sleep for yourself. She'll touch on how to do this whether you're feeding by bottle or breast, whether you have a partner to pitch in or you have to handle the nights alone.
Allison's personal postpartum journey was bumpy. She knows now that sleep deprivation was keeping her in an anxious, overwhelmed state and holding her back from being the mom she wanted to be. Today, she shares what she wishes she had done differently. It can be exhausting just thinking about trying to find a way to get 5 hours of sleep. But it's so important and she urges you to take steps to help yourself in this way.
