Show Notes

Alan Fitzpatrick is a DJ and producer who has pushed the scene into new and exciting directions with his commanding style of heavy dance music rhythms. Growing up on the South Coast of the UK, Alan’s entry into the electronic music community first came via raves and these eventually led him to experience the euphoria of the dancefloor at places like Slinky in Bournemouth back in the late 90s. Whilst attending college to study music tech, a young Alan dropped out due to getting a single signed and he quickly went on to become not only a mainstay at iconic venues such as Fabric, but head of the hugely successful We Are The Brave label as well. In this chat we discover how Alan first landed that debut gig at Fabric, how his recent success sampling a Patrice Rushen classic came about and the interesting collaborators he has been working with during the pandemic.
