Show Notes

Dr. Laura Veals is a small animal integrative veterinarian based out of Boise, Idaho. She is the owner/founder of Divine Wellness For Animals, the only mobile veterinary acupuncture and rehabilitation practice in the entire Treasure Valley. After working in clinical practice since 2014, she became deeply passionate about providing accessible mobility care to all patients, especially those who may respond more favorably to care at home instead of in a clinical setting.

Laura has an amazing recently adopted dog, Ryna, who is compared to "Petey" from Little Rascals and has the tallest ears in Boise, and her senior tripod cat, Trio, who is always ready to eat!

Laura has carved a unique pathway through her career and is passionate about embracing life outside of veterinary medicine, including her 'side gigs' as a yoga instructor, campervan owner and traveler, and voiceover artist.

Topics covered in this episode:

  • Dr. Laura's journey to becoming a house call veterinarian and how acupuncture saved her career
