EP 348: Gone To The Dogs With Glen “Peanut” Scott
This is an episode for lovers of the English Coonhound. One of the three originally recognized breeds, along with the Black and Tan and the Redbone, the English breed became the foundation for two other popular breeds, the Bluetick and the Treeing Walker. As the name suggests, the English hounds trace their foundations to the hounds brought to America by colonists from the British Isles.

Show Notes
Our guest this week is an avowed fancier of English Coonhounds but that has not always been the case. His story is one of transition, despite amazing success with the Treeing Walker breed to the point of winning several major events and two new pickup trucks with one of the most-winning hounds in the history of hunts-for-money, a hound named Wipeout Willie.
Our guest is Glen “Peanut” Scott from Bath Springs, Tennessee. He joins Steve at the White River National Wildlife Refuge for a great conversation centered upon hunting for raccoons with some really good coonhounds. Listeners will enjoy Peanut’s story.
