Duell Murphy of Huntington, Ind., is a major player on the major stage of competition coon hunting.Hunting dogs for Heather Island’s Ike Rainey, his earnings and those of the hounds he has handled have reached six figures and beyond.
In this entertaining hour and a half, Steve talks to Murphy about his job with Heather Island, his early beginnings in the sport, the tragedy of losing a favorite hound and the near-death experience on a Texas highway that nearly ended, not only his career, but his life.
