In this episode Steve talks with Chet McCreary, one of the founding members of the Wayne County Coon Hunter’s Club who remembers the early days of Autumn Oaks at Richmond, Indiana.Chet’s club wanted to build a new clubhouse and approached Steve at UKC with a proposal to host the event. The goal was to raise enough money to build a clubhouse. The result is “the clubhouse that Autumn Oaks built,” a showplace that could very well be the finest coon hunting club in the country.
