In this week’s episode Jason travels to the Prineville OR field trial to do some “in the field” recording with Wes York, a true dyed in the wool Houndsman that has been involved in hounds his entire life. They talk a little about the event and how it has become an annual gathering place for hunters near and far, as well as the comradery that is built between Houndsmen at events like these.
It’s not often you talk to someone who has ran the same line of dogs for 30 years, but when you find something that works, you stick with it. Wes has some great stories of hunting with his Grandfather Ken Craddock, Uncle Ted Craddock and other influential Houndsmen in his life.
