In this juicy episode, Erin dishes about what happened when she started dating a bunch of men (and many at the same time) in the year after ending her marriage of 16 years. Bottom line – whatever you’re looking for is available to you. So how do you figure out what you are looking for?
In this episode, Erin takes us through her Rumspringa of romantic adventures in the year following her separation, and divulges some of the lessons she’s learned along the ride. We're renegotiating the timeline for when we're allowed to date, have torrid affairs, and get super f*cking romantically entangled. We’ll be covering topics like:
- Using romantic exploration to cultivate your own sense of self and desires
- Reconnecting with your body and desirability during your sexual reprise (people still want you, and you don’t have to be skinny or a 20 year old!)
- Gaining practice in expressing your authentic and genuine needs
- Seeking low stakes, exciting connections beyond just sex (but the sex is a great plus)
- Cultivating a willingness to have new experiences, to accept new people into your life and to let them go
- Trusting that if you go out there to have fun, you will evolve, and you’ll come to know what you want
- Learning the “take a flier, just in case” mindset, because you never know when an unexpected connection can sweep you off your feet
