Satan trying to counterfeit God--it's a tale as old as time. This week, we'll begin to study in Revelation 13 and look at what the beast from the sea represents from John's vision. How does Revelation 13 tie into the prophecies of Daniel? Is there any difference between the Beast and the Dragon? And as we look at this introduction to the infamous Antichrist--the counterfeit of Christ Jesus--how do we combat all the things that set themselves up in the place of Christ in our lives today?

God vs Satan... it's no contest.In this week's message, we'll continue our study in Revelation 12 and get a further glimpse of the unseen war between the light and the darkness. We'll look at the common tactics of our enemy, but more importantly we'll learn the 3 things that allow us to overcome the tactics of our enemy and walk in the victory secured for us by Jesus Christ.

So what's the big deal with baptism? This week we put our study in Revelation on pause as we celebrate together the ordinance of baptism! But what is baptism? What are church ordinances? If we're saved by grace through faith, why do we need to participate in any ordinances as a believer in Christ? In this week's message, we'll look at all these questions and more concerning baptism.

Darkness or Light? Which do you choose?When we were last in Revelation 8, four of the seven trumpet judgments had fallen on the earth, destroying much of the natural world. The chapter ended with a heavenly messenger proclaiming woe upon the inhabitants of the earth, as the next judgments would turn away from nature and onto humanity--a humanity that has chosen time and again to cling to darkness rather than the light of God.In this week’s Bible study, we return to Revelation 9 and look at the fifth trumpet judgment. We'll see what happens when God allows the gates of hell to be opened and its inhabitants released upon the earth. Who is the one called a fallen star? Who are the demons locked in the abyss? And how do these horrible judgments actually show our God of mercy still calling for a rebellious humanity to turn from the darkness to the One who is called the Light of men?

Happy Father's Day! What do a sheep, a coin, and a son have in common? In Luke 15, Jesus is confronted by the religious leaders for eating with sinners. In response Jesus tells three parables, one about a lost sheep, one about a lost coin, and one about a lost son. And illustrated in the details of this third parable, we learn of the heart of God the Father for a lost world. In this week’s Bible study, we take a break from Revelation to give a message of encouragement to fathers in honor of Father’s Day. By digging into the famous Parable of the Lost Son, we’ll learn four characteristics of our Heavenly Father that are examples to anyone who finds himself as a father or father figure in this life. What does God teach us about fatherhood? What does fatherhood teach us about God?

Welcome back! The pause before the opening of the seventh seal has ended and John's prophetic vision of the coming wrath continues. And as the last seal is opened, all of heaven seems to hold its breath in anticipation of the cataclysms to follow. When the seven trumpet judgements begin, a third of the earth will be destroyed. In this week's Bible Study, we will study through the next phase of John's prophecy from Revelation 8. We'll learn the different ways God answers prayer and the significance of trumpets in God's calendar of history. As we see the earth begin to perish and remember the words of Jesus--that heaven and earth will pass away, but His words never will--we should ask ourselves whether our hope is in the creation or the Creator.
