Mom Hebert's Chocolate Cake

-------Dry------

• 2 1/2 c AP flour
• 2 c sugar
• 1/2 c Hershey's cocoa powder
• 2 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp salt

-----Wet---------

• 2 eggs
• 3/4 c veg oil
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 c buttermilk - substitute buttermilk combine 1c whole milk + 1 Tbsp vinegar, let stand for 5 minutes

• 1 c fresh hot coffee

-------------------------------------------

1. Combine wet and dry ingredients, then add coffee
   
   
   
2. Mix slowly to combine, batter will be very thin
   
   
   
3. bake in 9x13 greased & floured pan for 35 to 40 min at 350
   
   
   
4. Frosting of your choice
