The Strangers: Prey At Night (2018)
This pick definitely breaks the formula for our show, as it’s sort of a home invasion thriller and is less than a decade old, but with the new Strangers prequel is coming out this weekend, we decided it was worth taking a stab at. Thankfully, our assumptions were correct and this movie is due way more praise within the genre than it got upon release! While it starts out as your run-of-the-mill home invasion, it quickly ramps up into wild meta-slasher territory and the ride is definitely worth the price of admission.
