This week Colin has crafted Chocolate Whiskey and Beer Cupcakes (from the Smitten Kitchen blog) and discusses the importance of the balance of a dish and measuring in baking, we're both drinking Braunem Mantel and Wielki Lubelski from Two Plumbers Brewery and Arcade (Two-for-one this Episode!). Our meal was supplied by the delicious and traditional, Apollonia Mediterranean Greek Restaurant off Gravois. And we hop through talks of drum cores vs. marching bands, finding a significant other smarter than yourself, intertubing across the ocean, and Greek-French Fries.

We're drinking the American wild ale "Katy" from Second Shift, and eating a Greek lemon chicken and potato dish made by Colin. We taste a beautifully crafted pumpkin Crème Brûlée from Colin, Weihenstephaner, Schlafly, Goosefest, Oachkatzlschwoaf, and Main Street Brewing variations on Oktoberfest beers. Our restaurant review is on the fantastic Big Baby Q in Maryland Heights (try their baked beans, you’re welcome) and our conversation winds its way through the Striker cookie dance, spice expiration dates and rappers found in mines.
