Show Notes
NBA Free Agency heats up and Liz and Karen have a lot to discuss, especially when it comes to the uncertainty of their respective teams, the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors. They also discuss the idea of nepotism in the 2024 NBA Draft, with the Los Angeles Lakers using its 55th pick to draft Bronny James, son of LeBron, on a high-end Rookie contract. This move has the ladies questioning "Is this Make-A-Wish or professional basketball?" In addition to this NBA draft, Liz and Karen discuss the trade of Klay Thompson, from the Golden State Warriors to the Dallas Mavericks, bringing to an end the Era of the Splash Brothers, and creating major swirl around the future for both Thompson and the Warriors. Lastly, as excitment builds for the Olympics in Paris, Liz and Karen go down the rabbit hole to find out how a sport becomes part of the Olympic games.
