Valentina Tudose joins me to talk about sex with a focus on educating young people so they have more positive relationships. She explains why it is important to educate teens about respect and consent by teaching them about values and the need to have high self worth. We live in a hyper-sexualised society, where sexting and pornography are prevalent. Valentina advises parents’ ways in which they can discuss these issues with their children and educate them on how to develop their relationships skills. We talk about sexual pressure and how important it is to set boundaries. Managing emotions is an important part of sexual relationships and Valentina gives us tips on how to do this. Valentina discuses sex positive resources with us and is full of wonderful advice on topic of sex and relationships. “Awareness is the foundation of becoming well adjusted people who can function successfully in relationships.”
