Episode 24 is live! With me today is Jeffrey Yorio, author of several works of flash fiction and poetry as well as the vampire inspired horror fiction series Sundowners. In this episode, we discuss the first book in the series, Sundowners: Vampires are Only Human. Released in 2020 and set primarily in present day society, the novel tracks a development in the power structure amongst two vampire factions who, at the beginning of the novel, enjoy an uneasy truce. The strange disappearance of a major player disturbs the already shaky foundation of this truce, as both factions desperately race to find out what has happened.
