Joker: Folie à Deux FlixHQ opens with a very interesting scene that is reminiscent of a Looney Tunes cartoon. It has bright colours and a whimsical yet dark humour that creates a captivating atmosphere, but this first charm quickly wears off. In the end, it emphasises how shallow and monotonous the film is, how it keeps trying to go forward but never quite succeeds. Watching it is like waiting for the DVD logo to appear in the corner of the screen, then getting disappointed over and over again. Finally, the logo never appears, even after almost two and a half hours of running time.
