The death of Grigory Rasputin in 1916.

Rasputin was my Grandfather Ioseb "Stalin" Djugashvili's cousin.

Therefore, he was the nephew of Stalin's mother Tsarina Alexandra Feodorova the Romanov.

Grigory's death was murder by poisoning. He consumed poison at an event, then collapsed and died on his way home. He was found dead part way accross a frozen river on his route home.

There has been all sorts of hideous fiction made up about him since, including the seriously offensive lie that he was in a sexual relationship with his aunt, Tsarina Aexandra, instead of her nephew.

His death is listed as December 1916. The same year my Romanov Family Royals were murdered in Czechoslovakia.
