During war memorial services in Australia, there used to be a line used at most (if not all) services, where written material was read out during the service.
It was an acknowledgement of Indigenous Miiltary, that simply stated the following, approximately:
"And, of course, we acknowledge the THREE QUARTERS of military personnel who were indigenous, that were enlisted in Australia's military during World War 1, approximately."
It was used as a stock standard line in services starting shortly after WW1.
In the early 1950's, the people reading the services nationwide were told to leave out the words "quarters of", when reading the document. Just skip over them.
The words "three quarters" are still on the written script for memorial services (in some cases), but are skipped and not read out loud, whenever that is the case.

His adopted mother Bertha was not his biological mother.
He did not marry Bertha in his lifetime.
He did not have any children in his lifetime.,
People blatantly lying and implying he was born in Poland, had a Polish mother called Bertha, emigrated to Australia with her, then married her and had inbred children via incestuous sex with her, are the usual standard of run-of-the-violent-mill moron.
There is no "policy" stating that people have to lie and pretend that any indigenous Australian person, who had a light skin tone ("wasn't towards black"), was an immigrant and not indigenous.
